Hello こんにちは!

If I was living in Miyazaki I would want to go to the beaches with the beautiful palm trees...not do bonsai...

But here is a bonsai seller...hopefully not the same as the one you posted pics of...
Name: 野元珍松園
Products Sold:小品盆栽から中品・大型盆栽まで幅広く品揃えしています。

〒880-0824 宮崎県宮崎市大島町原ノ前1445-100
TEL : 0985-23-4986

Good luck...

I should have plenty of time to do both and some fishing :D

Thanks I'll stop by next time I'm in town! How did you find that one? I'm not actually in Miyazaki City but on the border of Kumamoto so I can go to Kumamoto or Fukuoka too, there might be more in the bigger cities. The one I posted pictures of was in Fukuoka actually lol

Methinks you and I need to start working on pushing some legislation to cut down on quarantine time. :P

Well, there IS a reason for the quarantine, you know. Too bad if it discombobulates us; it's very important.

I wouldn't be so against quarantine time if it were not for the belief that much of it is political and has little to do with horticultural concerns.

Now, how do you think politics enters in? And why? To whom would the great political plum be given? The Great Gypsy Moth Lobby, perhaps, or the Dutch Elm Conglomerate? Or any of the other more than 3,000 invasive or infectious exotic plants or animals that we spend millions upon millions of dollars in attempts to control them?

Please do some reading on this subject!!!!!

Really...I don't think I would want to travel from a small town on the outskirts of Kumamoto to Miyazaki. Got to be a two to three hour train ride...I lived in Iizuka (Fukuoka Ken), Yatsushiro (Kumamoto Ken) and Nakatsu (Ooita Ken)...Expensive train ride to any of the major cities.

Here is a link for the bonsai gardens from the Shohin Bonsai Kumiai in Kyushu. Hopefully you can find one nearer you that would give guidance etc.

Also, there is a professional named Daisaku Nomoto who lives in Miyazaki...He could maybe help you as well. https://www.facebook.com/daisaku.nomoto?fref=ts

Some people are better than others at discerning sarcasm or joking over the internet. One would think the use of an emoticon might help convey a sentiment, but that must not be their use.

Welcome...and thanks for the lovely eye candy. I could just sit and drool over them for a good long time. Nothing like that in my neck of the woods...

I would suggest you go back and pick yourself up something reasonable in a price range you can live with...and take more photos while your at it. (Selfishly speaking of course for I could just spend hours there!)

Great thanks much! I'll have to just stop by and see at least :)
And yes it is about 3 hours down to Miyazaki City but I have to make the trip for work sometimes and I drive so just gas money. I go to Fukuoka mostly, have you heard of Yokaro bus? Its 5000 for a year of all you can ride so I can go for free basically lol

Thanks, I'll be sure to take more pics next time I can. I'm new to bonsai so I don't really know what to look for but the trees did all look very nice.
