something keeps diging up a tree i had taken from the woods and put in a bonsai pot. how can i find out what is doing it and how can i stop it. thing is i have 4 trees out in pots it only digs up the same one day after day.

you could try to put chicken wire over your pots

If you have cats you can spread some cat feces around the plants. That generally keeps them away but it wears off in a couple of days unless you keep at it. You can also go to a local nursery and they should have some rodent repellent but I cant help in that subject since I've never used any. I've had a problem with the little ****'s digging up soil and chewing on my trees trunks lately as well.

Further, wire the tree into the pot so it can't be pulled out. Second if there is moss or lichen on the tree the culprits may be birds
