So I repotted this Japanese plum like two weeks ago AFTER the leaves were already out. Does it matter if I repotted AFTER the leaves were already out?

1. What are all these holes in the leaves? Pest? I don't see any.

2. I noticed them only AFTER I repotted. Did I make a mistake and repot too late or does it not matter?

The holes in the leaves have nothing to do with the re-pot timing- the tree looks like it's doing fine at this point. The holes in the leaves are small and infrequent, and probably insect related.

The fact that your tree looks healthy and is actively growing should be a good indication to you that it did not mind being repotted at all.
