Is it too late to repot Japanese larch

I suggested against that re-pot, but thinking that since it was already in a pot with nice small roots etc, that it was very different than collecting one in the wild with that growth in the spring. All about root development it seems. Did you trim some roots off when you re-potted? Thanks for the lesson.

We are both learning lol..I trimmed about 20% off the roots off, mostly the circling ones and a bit on the bottom.
