Scary stuff watching the news videos this morning, sat stunned as you watched so much area totally inundated.

Mother earth is not to be underestimated.

I seem to remember hearing Miagi prefecture was where they were showing the devestation, hopefully aside form the obvious, that it isn't a large area of bonsai bussiness.

The nuke plant with the cooling system down may end up being the big issue, hope not.

Prayers are with the Japanese people. Stunning, tragic and massive disaster.

You folks on the West U.S. Coast stay off the beaches...

I just wish i knew someone in Japan who felt able to reassure me they were okay,these impersonal newspersons with their draconian sensationalism leave me kinda cold..

My brother lives in Japan with his wife. Thankfully he was far enough away from the coast but they still felt the quake. I was very glad to see his e-mail when I woke yesterday. Thoughts are certainly with all those who were not so lucky.
