At this stage of development, cutting the apical bud will stunt the growth and the thickening of the trunk.Why not remove strong apical bud, leave 2 side ones instead to add unwired movement to trunk?
What type of substrate did you use in the second photo on 6/14/19?
thinking the same. i was just trying to get visual confirmation of crackage before planting. the paper towels they've been in all winter were a little moldy. i washed the seeds off with hydrogen peroxide and used new paper towels and bags when i first refrigerated them, but mold still grew. anyways, i didn't want the tails coming out in that moldy environment, so i just tried water in a cup instead of throwing the whole bag of seeds on the heatmap straight out of the fridgeI personally would plant them
