For scale. For now I'm thinking of follow its natural profile and shape just with ramification and reduced for airflow. Not for awhile though. Full sun year around and water semi sparingly. Thuja is water pretty decently and semi sun

I have 6 myself in nursery pots waiting to be worked on. They all had thick trunks which was why I picked them up. I actually like the color of this juniper verse the darker green.

sweet...i love the color seafoam green and am an ocean lover, so the large trunks, decent price, and Sea Green claimed me, at the time. it has been easy to take care of (in my 'a bit less water' category), and it didnt really flinch at the repot or large branch nixing. berrys have been pleasant and im looking forward to pruning it back more and reshaping in the future.
