how many outdoor types have seen the relentless effort by crows to hassel birds of prey. I think their favorite is the owl. I feel sorry for them in the fall as they have no place to hide now that the leaves have fallen.

I'm enjoying the display. Love the scroll and the owl figurine. Would be nice to have the Miss Kim in something other than a training pot, and have a proper stand. The height is good just not wide enough to seat the pot. So I'm slowly working on having enough elements. Those faults overlooked, your thoughts?

I sent the photos to my teacher for criticism and thought since there aren't enough other folks into this kind of display that I could share what I'm learning.

Two of anything (birds) is a no-no and thought of as duplication.

The owl figurine would be better displayed on a taller stand.

so to get away from the duplication, the scroll could have the artist's version of crow and owl on same art, then acknowledge as one item.

I did raise the owl figure as suggested by my sensei and it did balance the over all look of the presntation much better.

I would love to see the entire grouping again with the owl raised. Please...

Nice indeed. Question - do you have a chair or chairs you view it from at eye level? Reason I ask is I am certain it views hella lot better(it looks good as is) and would love to see it that way :)

The dining room table is just in front of this seki, so when I take a picture it is always from the opposite end of the table, standing up but kinda scrunched down. LOL

I always try and sit at that end closest to the display.
