so I decided to try something today. I really wanted to try rooting some elberta peach and french prune plum cuttings but couldn't find too much successful input on the matter, so last week i decided to go full newbie and dip some cuttings of each into clonex and place them in a large, heated tote, (though i shouldn't hold my breath cause I was a dummie and left the soil quite loose).
But today, i had to clean up some more branches and decided to try something on a hunch. I am an aquarium hobbyist, and usually for most aquarium plants that need help rooting or just to fix most any problem, I would just add magnesium sulfate. Same goes for when my fish got sick or stressed and I wanted to sterilize the water. My adding magnesium sulfate always resulted in a huge explosion of everything growing and reproducing.
So, I have decided to plant 8 more cuttings of each tree, after I planted them all I sprayed them generously with an epsom salt water spray.
Has anyone tried this with noticeable result?
