Making a slip or press mold

zombie thread alert, and ketoi hasn't been online for ages... but still someone might be able to help.

So I wanted to try something like this... is there a way to do a mold like this with a real pot?

Max,

you have do as as multiple pieces.

It is easy, just sit and work out how to pull the pieces off.
Use clay pressed against to bonsai pot to understand how to cast the plaster.
