Thanks, all! The storu is nothing special: I bought it 7 years ago, I think it was a Japanese import. Here it is in the door of my car, on the way back home ;-)..IMG_1013.JPG

At first I didn't have enough balls to cut him back, to get more branching, so I only pruned a bit and wired him.

In the end, to years later, I did the big cutting.

A few years later I made a virtual to were to go with this big fellow. I Hope I can get close to that!

What an awesome little tree! I just acquired a mame corkbark Chinese Elm and this gives me great ideas for it.
