Hi !

I'm new to this forum, I'm french.

I grow some Marsh Pine, and it seem a nice specie (or i found only nice pict in Google!)

After a search, i can't find any information about this tree on the forum. And I know some of you live in the area of this pine.

They say, this pine have the ability to make needles in the bark.

Anyone grow some or live in the area of the Pond Pine? Why it's not used?

The needles are too long for bonsai? (20cm in nature)

Thanks for the informations you may given.

@AlainK es danse Paris. Petetre il a de l'aide.

😄 😄 😄

I'm not from Paris ! I wouldn't !

When I was a kid, in Aurillac, we would shout at the kids from "Paris" :

"Parisien, tête de chien, parigot, tête de veau !"

This was not very nice, and frankly I didn't know why my pals would say that, I hardly understood. I was the only kid in the school with blond hair, almost white, like the kids from northern europe in the camping sites in Brittany, so I just did like the other kids did ;)

I told my mum one day "they asked me : why do you have white hair, you're not old ?"

And when at 6 I went north of the Loire, the boys mocked me because of my southern accent, but... the girls found it sexy, HEY !

And though I have a perfect standard accent from the Loire valley now (the best, ideal one), I can still sometimes have this accent from the south when I'm crossed or passionate, like saying "année" with the "an" sound from there... 😏

@Epicea, have a look at this French forum :

I'm sorry!
I know there is someone here from Paris, so I must have gotten mixed up.

I studied French for two years, but it's been 20 years since I used it.
Now it's only a little better than my Arabic: just enough to get me in trouble.

@AlainK salut!
