Mavis, my yew

No disrespect, I know it's named after your mother-in-law, but it makes me think of a proper English woman having high tea. The name, not the tree.

Mavis the MIL is one of 7 children who spent the formative years in an orphanage in Manchester, England, during and immediately after WWII. She came from nothing, and truth be told, really never had much, but she's a "proper lady" through and through, and is incredibly proud of her heritage as an Englishwoman, so we won't even talk about the right way to make tea or how to drink it. Just the other day, she told me that the cup of tea I had just made for her was a "proper cuppa"- high praise!
