I've got a small Mugo that's been growing a number of years next to a pile of firewood. I've read the Vance Wood thread on Mugos. Would collection follow the same timeline as repotting (collecting in July)?

I'd considered leaving it in the ground for a while yet, but the firewood is moving and it needs to go as well.

I've always repotted Mugho in spring with no losses. The extending candles on this one would make it good timing for me here. Maybe climate zone makes some differences in timing but I'd be happy to get that one transplanted now.
