Multitrunk mame privet

This is mame privet project I started 2 years ago, from an air layering taken from my hedge. The layering went very well, but one of the three trunks did not produced buds and died. Last year a replacement was developed and wired in place for the lost trunk. (the one in the middle) Few weeks ago I repotted and pruned it and was very pleased with the roots. Now it started to leaf out.

Thank you for your kind words! Actually it had no taper at all at the beginning, just 3 little 3-4 cm stumps with the same diameter.

It was a simple trifurcation (is that a word? ) in my hedge with pencil thick branches.

It's growing nicely, however the weather is quite cold compared to the previous years..
Can't wait for the first cutback.
Probably I should start feeding it,it looks a bit yellow
