A year ago this was a two inch, 1mm thick cutting. I’ve been trying to make a neagari out of it since then and it’s grown pretty well all summer. Right now, you can see it’s several feet tall. What you can’t see is the escape roots beneath the pot. Since it’ll have to get a strong cutback and the escape root will have to be trimmed to come inside for the winter, do you think I should do that now, and give it time to recover before bringing it in, or do it all at once mid-September when my tropicals come in for the winter?
