I have a technique a guy from Bloem taught me, works like a BOM, its a ground layering that has been adapted to create killer nebari. never did it with conifers though. Only on celtis africana, I think it will work like a charm on any fast growing deciduous. I don't have any pics though. Maybe I should do one this coming spring and document it....
