I picked this up last year from a closing garden center, finally dug into it. I already knew I didn't want a big final product, so I went pretty hard (for me). I'll put into a pond basket in another few weeks, when spring hits here more consistently

Probably need to change planting angle a little, more forward certainly. I think it needs reduced more, but not soon.

Yeah, patience is key. Approach your final design choice over a couple of growing seasons when it comes to junipers.
 
I got these as a pair, started on the second one today. I left more foliage, but I liked the direction of this one better.. need to get some pond baskets next, our these into some Boon's mix
