Picked up some new “vases” in Sao Paulo.

These pots are from Sergio Onodera. He was kind enough to schedule me in to peruse his workshop and inventory. I love the texture of the one on the right, but not sure what is going to go in there. Maybe a ginkgo? Although, I am not sure how well the ginkgo are adapting to the coolish SC winters.
I have some more to post from Izumi, but it may be a while as my other friend is bringing when he comes to visit next.

Here are a few early arrivals from the Izumi batch. I really enjoy the rustic feel with some traces of shine. Like it already has an aged patina.

Yes, my brother in law introduced us a few years ago. And where we were staying in Pinheiros was only a 15 min taxi away.
