We had a hard time getting any Sun on the aspen trees, or a picture without people in it.
They told us if we could drive up here by 5:30 or 6am that when the Sunrise hits the snow
it looks like a disco ball all lit up with the fresh snow that was coming in that night. Didn't make it.

Notice the water is level err straight. Not optics causing the fish eye-ish effect. The landscape shape is true to life.

The world's smallest and saddest cemetery.....on the MD/DC line.... Between a McDonald's parking lot and the sidewalk.
I wonder who it is???
It looks like there is a plate for a placard to be mounted facing the road side....but its gone.

.....the pile of old tires really sets it off!

I wonder if that isnt a grave but a marker designating the demarcation between dc and md. I remember watching a history channel show and they were going around trying to locate them or something and theu looked the same.

Picture: had a "friendsgiving" last night... turkey came out delicious.

Reminds me of the cemetery I posted pages back in Boston that entombs ex Patriots Paul Revere,
and 3 signers of the Declaration of Independence including Samuel Adams and John Hancock,
and I was also thinking more a marker as Orion metal head suggests, perhaps from the same era
as the Granary Burial ground in Boston. Perhaps someone in records keeping at the courthouse
could elaborate?
