I place the cotton round in the foliage of the juniper to hold in the breeze while I was working on a brocade JBP out of the picture.
I love getting good action shots, but was a moment too soon this go round.
Plus the camera was in Auto mode not anticipating any need to speed things up.

At first, I noticed the “etchings” next to the larger round holes and, assuming they went all around the holes (before examining further), it appeared like two suns.......Tucson.

HAHAHAHA!

I'm not good at riddles

Is this a sports related answer? I don't know the teams basketball name but thought maybe the Suns
then that's probably Pheonix. IDK. The taper of the "Sun" rays are reverse for the way we see the Sun rays emit
so I'm just plain ole suckin the hind tit when it comes to such riddles. I'm clueless @sorce

LOL not at all. I get that, just that the Sun rays if that's what they are, aren't tapered right.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, my wife and her sister took a balloon ride around Red Rock near Sedona a couple years ago.

I love balloons!

I remember seeing a MASSIVE hot-air balloon migration/display living in Battle Creek, MI, where my mother was employed by the Kellogs corporation.

Maybe it wasn’t massive.... perhaps I was simply smaller.

;)

Looks like a pickup, must be Detroit. Here's a Buick hiding behind a Mountain Laurel (It's disguised as a white flower).ML 060320.JPG

It was a bit too late when I took my camera but the other day, the sky was orange under a black cloud and blue above. Anyway, bad photo angle with the neughbour's TV antenna, but here it is :

It was astonishing to note the different variances in hues and overall structure of sunset vantage points in relation to proximity to higher populated areas and industrial sites.
I noticed this mostly while staying in Milwaukee, as apposed to my current location, roughly a two and a half-hour vehicle journey NORTH.

Where I live, there are no (major) industrial plants and it's not that much populated. The air pollution here is very low, especially as we're just slowly out of the lockdown.

The only plant there is around is in the west-south-west, just the opposite of sunset. It's a nuclear plant where one of the two towers is now closed. And the other one only yields clouds of steam (hopefully not contaminated), some 50 miles away in the other direction.

The "Val de Loire" has been celebrated for its sunsts since the 16th century. Of course, with cars and light pollution, it is not the same, but it's still a fairly clean place.

Wanted to get out before sunset, but there's another shower of rain. Good, it will save me time tomorrow morning, no need to water my potted plants and tomatoes and courgettes

I love yellow courgettes, they're sweeter than the green ones. You can grate them and eat them raw with olive oil and lemon juice or apple vinegar.
