Adam Lavigne had me lift a branch that was barely down. For fear my too-little branch would die back. Nothing weeping dramatic either. Let me find the thread in the ficus group and copy the photo and his words.It's been weeping for maybe 3 hours and nothing has died yet. 'Too Little' do not naturally weep, you have to force them down. I have many and they grow like everything else, straight for the sky.
Tamarix, on the other hand die all the way back to the base of stems that bloom (in my yard, unknown on bonsai).
I wish you the best...but wanted to share the warning I got. It's cool weeping for sure.I guess we shall see...

Here is my only weeping bonsai in the garden thus far. Bald cypress only in it's third year as a bonsai.

Yikes... in only two weeks.Ek! After 2 weeks, things looking pretty grim. No turning back from here. There are some tips showing bud growth. We shall learn something.
