Well actually there is. Right now it is 20 degrees Celcius - on the sun you can walk in shorts only. In the night it gets to about 10 or 8. Pretty hot for this time of year. But the weather forecast just announced quite steep drop in temperatures starting from tomorrow until Tuesday or so. In the night it might drop to -3 or -4 which might be dangerous. Umes are known for flowering during winter when there is even some snow left so I guess these should be fine. But there are other trees that started to push buds.Nice! is the hazard of late frosts over in your area? How do you manage late frosts for flowering trees?
Brought three in...it was strange that one bloomed with this dark red/pink flower...two years ago I recall it had a regular pink flower.
