Random Of Doom!

So, in other news, this is going on in my backyard.

An update on this fiasco, just in time for Halloween.

Nearly $1 million dollars in fraud, but the article doesn't say anything about charges related to the bodies themselves.
I guess the entire facility has been dismantled and the property cleared out by the EPA since last year.

I have been saying for the past few years that the AI revolution is a sham because they're not actually intelligent. I wasn't sure exactly how it all it worked, but I'm very familiar with the Turing test, but also Searle's Chinese Room argument against it.
Came across this that explains it in exactly the way Searle did. The computer is interpreting data, but is not cognisant of it's meaning.

YouTube channel idea - again: film the random but often fascinating conversations I have with myself while buttling around the house.

Seems weird, and potentially boring, BUT last night I think I figured out the origins of the "women going to the bathroom in herds" phenomenon. That's got to be of interest to someone!

What would you even name a channel like that? "Talking (to myself) Over Coffee." "Just Hangin'."
I don't know. Any ideas?

Let's wreck this video.
There are some rather obvious (at least to me) issues with many of the assertions made, or how they're explained.

Fun video.
I admit I did a quick-watch, skipping once I got the idea he was presenting.
What I am completely missing is the option to not have a single party in power, but a representative goverment, multiple parties holding a shared power, as is common in several places in the world (e.g. NL: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dutch_cabinet_formation).

For an idea how many parties Dutch people can select from, check out political parties at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Politics_of_the_Netherlands#Cabinet

This is exactly what struck me as well!
They put all the focus on selecting one person for one position who at all times is representative (at least by vote counts) of at least 50% of the people. In reality there's hardly an elected government in the world that doesn't have multiple branches of elected officials. There is almost always separate executive, legislative and judicial branches, which provide various levels and forms of representation.
They really missed the mark in the video regarding the difference between majority rule and representative rule.

Y'all, I remembered a video about some Japanese monks giving beer to a pine tree to help it recover.
I remembered an interview with a professional moss grower who gave beer to her mosses, as it was the superior conditioner for a wide range of species.
I remembered a bunch of people dosing larger molecules to their plants, similar to what you'd find in lysed yeast.
I remember doing fungal cultures every year and making my own YPD (yeast, potato, dextrose) agar for petridish cultures.

So I got a spray cannister, filled her up with water, molasses and bakers yeast and I'm running some experiments. Placed on the radiator at home, mixed every time I remembered to do so, and later placed outside in the cold.

The goal: To see whether it's moss or/and fungus that thrives on live yeast being sprayed onto the soil, or to find out it can and will kill my mycorrhizae.

Please remind me in a couple months for an update.
Kind regards
