If it doesn’t need root work, then a repot now is more for aesthetics? Slip-potting for a show is probably no big deal, but otherwise it might not be worth the risk.
C. Quince is tough in my climate and starts growing very early in the season (like first few days above 40f). It’s one of my first repots but I do try to wait as long as possible to avoid freezing temps on recently-disturbed roots.
