Nice work, but for me looks to flower shop for my taste. Though the work is good.

Looks really interesting - where did you get the pots?
I made them a few years ago as an experiment. I like the landscape look although I'd like to get a little more specific as to the geography of which landscape ala Arthur Joura (sp).

2014 and 2016

I really like it, it's neat. I personally feel it'd be even better if you did one with plants that looked more like they belonged together and in a rocky landscape like that. Y'know what I mean?

Trying to keep this updated. This was from spring 2017, the first root work and to actually see if the idea worked. It is definitely a two person job. It really didn't need any root work. It could of gone a couple of more years if not more. At least you can see how the process worked.

Here it is today. Very hard to photograph. May be need to do an in-the-round video. Most of the trees are the same. I ripped out the dwarf hemlock (Jervis) that I didn't like its growth habit. I have changed the flowering plants numerous time trying to find ones that tolerate the same light. I'm liking the sedum and thyme. There is also a dwarf tulip that seems to flower constantly. The moss didn't come in well this year.

Thanks for the update! I hadn't seen the thread until now. The ceramic work looked really good from the start, but I didn't think the trees-through-holes idea would work. Obviously, I was wrong.

I posted this in another thread thought I would update with a video and some close-ups of foliage. I can't remember the variety of thuja but amazingly small foliage. Greenery is dwarf daisy, wine and roses thyme, and corsican mint.
