This 12" or so larger green/blue rectangle has traditional in-turned lip and is about 2" deep. Perfect for that deciduous specimen! Has my poem on the inside:

bees will dance
a cricket's symphony is commencing.

As the others, this glaze reminds me of landscapes seen with sand bars and grassy spans of brush as well as an aquatic scene.

Start at 120.00 w/15 shipping ends Midnight Feb 1 and ship Friday.

Very Nice! Love the glaze. Larger Chojubai clump perhaps. Well done.

Thanks Frank, more to come from the kiln soon…. Dang the price of materials is wacky and electric bill!!
As many of you know the hand made process is labor intensive and in this case no forms or molds are used. (Most production pots from the well known's are all mold oriented such to save labor and still create a pleasant pot.) A lot of fussing and hand 'fillingIMG_6089_2edited.jpgIMG_6091.JPGIMG_6099.JPGIMG_7311.JPGIMG_0037.jpegIMG_0039.jpegIMG_0040.jpegIMG_0041.jpeg' as well as smoothing takes place when the clay is leather hard. I burnish it such to compress the surface to accept a smooth glaze if that is in the cards. With the 'red's and brown's the surface can be a bit rougher for the more raw look or in fact also burnished and polished.

Thanks for the fine comment and the mutual relationship of hand builders!

Happy dance!
I thought I missed out.
Eckhoffw: My two Larix Larcina are doing fine! Cresting buds and a few poking needles!!! (Making friends with their cousins next door!) Yippie.. I am going to keep them in the container for a year to develop some root systems and then into the grove. Thanks again so happy to have them!!
