Hi there, has anyone tried scion grafting white pines on to scots pine? more specifically zuisho onto scots pine?

I've seen bonsai magazine articles saying that zushio is propagated as cuttings in Japan.
I have not tried grafting white onto scots but white pine is routinely grafted onto black pine so I'd expect that scots should also be OK as stock.

yes shibui i have read that aswell. I have a branch of my small zuisho i want to take of for design reasons so i want to not let it go to waste and thus wanting to experiment!
