Hi!
I recently bought this juniper and have only had it about a week, but it is starting to brown already. I thought it might be due to the stress of delivery and I’ve already pruned the brown foliage, but more is showing up.

I also considered tip blight and bought some bonide infuse (no mancozeb available in my area).

Any tips on what might be the issue? (Overwatering, underwatering, tip blight, natural aging)

I should have taken a picture initially.
But there was one small section similar to this picture.
I pruned maybe 2 small branches near the top where all the foliage was brown.

The rest of the plant seemed healthy, except these small spots of brown.

I understand it could totally be a natural process, but want to be sure there’s not some underlying condition that could worsen over time.

Well.. those tips are something to be concerned about. But normally I would expect to see it at many growing tips, not just two. You could pre-emptively treat against tip blight. Or wait and see how it develops.

That pic is a bit too small to see clearly.
One common cause of brown tips on juniper is physical damage. This could easily be cause d by handling or packing. In summer the cambium is loosely attached while the tree is actively growing. Bending the branches sharply can cause separation and kill a section. Damage does not usually show up for a few weeks. This is why many growers avoid wiring and shaping junipers in summer.

Just keep an eye on the tree to make sure the problem does not spread.
