Hello,
has anyone here shipped plants within eu as a non business? I don't currently need to but I am running out of space quickly, so I would just like to know if you need the plant passport thingy if you are not a business, I couldn't find that, and which courier company to choose because they don't seem to allow shipping plants. Thanks for response.

I have received plants without EU plant passports, and I have received plants with EU plant passports and a bunch of pests.
Schengen agreement means free trade and EU regulations are pretty relaxed within the EU; you probably don't need it if you're not a business. The open borders means you could also drive there yourself instead of shipping it and nobody would stop you.

All of the plants I got from abroad but from within the EU, were shipped without any issues. I think the EU passport is meant for external trade to show a plant is 'within specs' of the EU standard phytosanitary guidelines and laws. Not sure about that completely, but I have seen the passport label outside the EU a couple times and I figured it must have worked like that.
