I will be using this thread to document the Nursery Stock which I purchased in Autumn/winter 2020.. and left untouched until Spring 2021.

Looking at that last picture, I realize the angle is off..

I took the picture left-handed... whoops.
🤓

Did you just re-pot and wire these?
looking good!
I imagine any day now the ice will let go of my nursery stock -frozen to the ground still.

Haha!! These are the only ones I could get out, so far. Today will PROBABLY “free” the rest of them..

Yes.. the cotoneasters were JUST starting to “swell their buds” in my microclimate... so it was separation time.. the wire will probably only stay on until mid-summer.. it’s barely ACTUALLY doing anything.. i just wanted to try and quick “lock in” some basic movement.

Nice!. That’s awesome.
#Jealous.

@Eckhoffw , I decided to go bold with my Hypericum... I was told they backbud like “crazy”...

So I set to work.. and a design better, in my opinion, than the initial idea I had in mind, emerged..

Then I went to the roots... and half of the soil was frozen.... i’ll get’cha t’murrah!

This tree has it’s own thread.. I will update THERE when the work is complete.

This guy, too!

Dwarf Myrtle - “Cherry Dazzle”

It was obviously a cutting “plug”.. with ridiculously ugly circling roots... just kept around because of the pricey “cherry dazzle” nametag.... It WAS 89.99.. i paid 20 :).... so i decided to (attempt to) use those roots in an “exposed-root style”.. in 2 years I will expose them.584DB684-5157-433D-B045-2E8553047335.jpeg5521E9BE-B620-4159-9983-01EE7951C224.jpeg49042093-1076-4AD7-852B-9EAE528A97AE.jpeg
Now back into coldframe until “freeze/frost chance” passes.

(I’m thinking that “second” branch DEFINITELY won’t “stay”... observing the photos..)
