So wow I was expecting these guys to be your average spindly little seedling but nope, dey chunky!
Freezing cold pinkie finger for scale (of how I miss the summer) but these li’l dudes be strong. I have 9 although realistically only 8 are viable.

Love when seedlings surprise. The first time I grew Japanese white pine I couldn’t believe how sturdy they looked compared to all the other species I’d sprouted

It was a nice surprise indeed. Can’t wait to see if they are nice fast growers, they are big suckers so here’s hoping!

My Tamarinds never sprouted last year. I'll try it again at some point.
