This is a small Zelkova Serrata that I started from seed 8 or 9 years ago. Now beginning with development of the branches

Some recently tidied-up trees.

First, Deshojo maple in development. There's a big, big nebari buried in that over-large pot.

English elm. This one actually still needs its winter tidy-up. I'm developing the canopy towards the right, which is why some twigs have been left to run at that side.

Not sure I've shown this one before. Literati Scots pine, Pinus sylvestris. Very difficult to photograph as it has a sinuous 3d movement. Twigs are wired flat at the moment, next spring's upward shoots should create a more pleasing image.

LOVE this tree. Very cool image even though it breaks.. No. Cool tree.

One of my yews, after linking a dead section on a root to a yinned branch. Slowly getting there. Collected a few years ago in a friends garden. Next repotting I will have to tilt and sink the tree lower in the pot.
