Nice internode length development shows in the progression. Well done. How would you feel about shortening one internode length, would the next step down on the left add some dynamic to the trunk line? Or do you prefer the stability of the more upright centred apex?Cherry Plum progression..

Do you mean reducing the apex and using the branch under it as a continuation of the trunk line?Nice internode length development shows in the progression. Well done. Initially that was my thought, but I think a small rotation of the existing planting angle would accomplish the same thing as I study it further. That would also place the scar more to the side and back of the design. A small adjustment that would change the vertical to a bit more of a slant in keeping with the wonderful movement of the lower trunk portion.Do you mean reducing the apex and using the branch under it as a continuation of the trunk line?
