The wife asked me to shave my beard!...

She never liked it due to the whiteness, She said I look like an old man, I'm 67- of course I do!!

I had my last shave in march then let it grow, She let me know of her discontent at every opportunity too!


I have to agree that it looked a mess so a couple of weeks ago I reduced it to a goatee and came down stairs, I spoke with her- She didn't even notice!!


I think i'll take the remainder off soon and see if she doesn't notice again!!

Dang John, I've seen 40 year olds with older looking skin. I understand your wife's opinion on showing it off!
My dad is the same age, he looks awesome and rugged in a three to five day stub beard and I think you would rock it too.
Maybe don't tell her that though, it's a lot of upkeep.

Well, It happened again, I removed the goatee and came downstairs, Spoke to the wife for a couple of minutes then said- 'You've not noticed have you?, She asked Noticed what??!!
