Hi all

I’ve bought this little beauty under the pretence it’s a Juniper but I’m sure it’s not as it has very soft long leaves

Any ideas would be great

Thanks yes the shape is beautiful but not sure it’s a pine unless there is a very soft leave pine out there?

Larch are deciduous ...
Good one.

Let me add one, in case Daniel did not realize.. Larch do NOT backbud on old wood. (Or, not well, an odd bud may pop in a 10 year period),
So make sure you do not trim beyond the last viable bud if you want the branch to stay. Likewise, ensure the inner buds do not get shaded too much over summer, of you loose the inner buds over time, which won't come back.
