Thread of the Month

So I've gotten some good feedback on this idea of a Thread of the Month.

This would be one thread picked from the vast repository here on the forum, (or could be another forum if the thread is worthy) to bring it out, dust it off, and share with the members.

This would be chosen by our own (drum roll please...) Brian Van Fleet! He has graciously agreed to be part of this project. ( If he doesn't have time, then I'll try to fill in....)

If you have a thread that you think should be considered, please PM Brian or I, and keep an eye out for the monthly post.

Let me know if you think there is anything else that could be added to make this project better!

Great idea. I went looking for a couple really good threads I could recall and I'll PM Brian them.

Anyone think that the threads should be edited? Take out all the banter, small talk and keep it to the hard core relevant bonsai points being made? A lot of it 'can' be entertaining and it's not so bad but makes for a long read. Some threads could easily be shortened by half (or more) and become real informative right to the point, powerful little presentations on the subject. A link to the original could be provided for people who really enjoy all the drama.

Silly Dave, we should have one thread that is just the link to the monthly thread, then a discussion thread for talking about it. If there is ample reason, there could be a link inserted to that discussion thread in the ongoing thread of the month.

You did say repository and not suppository, so I assume that automatically rules out any of the threads fondu and bonsai flambé?
