Tree ID - Cypress or Redwood

I picked up a few new trees at the club auction this weekend. One of them was not labeled by the seller, but the auctioneer called it a bald cypress.

Now that I have it home, I think it looks more like a dawn redwood, but I'm not very good at plant identification. Can any of you experts help me out before I make some bad care and design decisions?

Seems like BC foliage to me, leaves are fairly fine. And it's hard to see in the pics but foliage seems alternating

Redwood leaves are opposite. Bald cypress leaves are alternating.
 
Yes that pic sealed it. Definitely BC. Usually DR foliage is so coarse I can tell with out all the detail but this one is trimmed back pretty good. I look like a fool on here enough with incorrectly IDing things
 
Thanks for the feedback! I tried Google image search, but they looked so similar to me and I didn't notice the difference in leaf pattern.
