Would anyone recommend slip potting these tridents into the next size pots, they're for a forest planting next spring. I have plenty of larger tridents to go in the forest, these are just fillers if I need them, anyways if there's time I wouldn't mind putting on some growth. I live in N/W Florida and still have a month or more growing season. Or just let them mellow? I just recent got them off ebay but they seemed to have recover nicely from their trip.

Provided you can keep the water up to these post you will probably get as good or better growth and thickening from just fertilizing well for the remaining growing season. I don't think slip potting will achieve very much at this stage.
