Tropical nights?

By your temperature guidelines, same here for the past month. every night above 70 with about 80%rh. Ive been taking my domes off my cuttings at night and putting them back on during the day. Are those temps relative to location or is that the same guidelines no matter what zone youre in?

im a bit worried for my Larch.... I may start putting it on the bilco stairs where it gets cooler due to being below ground. I hear larch need a greater delta-t in day to night temps to stay in optimal health.
Our heat has been relentless for a month. I wish I had removed my cutting covers at night, because most rotted, although the older cuttings that I rarely open or mist seem to be OK.

My Japanese maples under shade cloth have suffered leaf burn, even with just a few hours of sun each day. Finally tomorrow night we are going below 70F.

Our heat wave just broke and it is a pleasant 68 degrees right now. We are looking at a week of high temps in the 70s so we should be able to turn the AC off for a while and the trees can start to their late summer/fall growth spurt.
