Twisted Mugo pine

Ok, my first Thread in the forum was not a great success. I have created a kind of mess. What I wanted to show is the developement of a collected Mugo Pine from 2005 - 2022.

I think we can live with any issues in early posts. I'm more about the content than the formatting anyway so thanks for posting your tree.

The spiral shari is not evident on the earlier photos. Did you choose to make that spiral or does the new shari follow some wire damage?

The spiral is all natural. You cannot force a spiral with wire with a Mugo pine that is way over 100 years old. Also the shari is natural. The bark came of a few years after collecting the tree.

Great to hear. I could not see any evidence of wiring but the shari is so regular that it appears to be similar to wiring scars. I am impressed that nature can achieve something so similar to our mistakes.
Congratulations on the progress so far.
