I have access to an older variegated pittosporum that has put out several adventitious shoots. The shoots from the lighter layer, of course, are nearly a cream color, but still show the faintest bit of green. Has anyone here tried keeping a plant that is at least half or even all formed of this type of foliage? I imagine it would be quite a challenge, but I see no reason to think it just couldn't be done.
Edited to add a couple pictures I took of some cuttings after the original posting. Both display a little bit of green in the cream-colored sections, but I kept some of the normal variegated foliage as well so it would be easier to keep the cuttings alive.
