Just curious. I several Privets that I have started from cuttings from the same parent plant. The oldest one is three years old and I think it is ready for me to start training it. I do have a question about it.. For the past 2 years it has had a mix of regular straight leaves and leaves that are wavy.

I'm not sure what is causing it. Any ideas? None of the other trees from the same plant have the wavy leaves.

Seems like a deficiency, possibly of air?

see em do it in the wild
the one plant I have given zero winter protection to is a privet -has those wavy leaves

it had them before winter, the only differing factor I can think of is light, abused it just like the others (privet) but threw it under a bench, plenty water

my belief is that when a privet dies...if they can be killed...it’s okay
