I've been growing this elm from a cutting for five or six years. Originally I didn't plan on a weeping style, but the tree naturally produced weeping style branches so I went with it.

Some of the leaves have a slight curl to them, it looks like it might be some kind of disease, but I can't identify it. If anyone has any experience with this, info is always appreciated!

open up the leaves and check for caterpillars. sometimes they roll the leaf up and make a little nest. Bacillus thuringiensis(online will be the best bet) is a good natural pesticide for most caterpillers and is very mild in most cases. or just pick them off.

I have one I got last fall, that the branches grow like this when let to grow, but it will get a major haircut. Should have already happened, but our spring started a couple months early so some spring work got missed this year.

Barry,
Can't help with the leaf problem but wanted to say I like the weeping look on your elm.

Thanks for sharing.
