Lime sulfur does preserve the wood right?

I’ve got some wood hardener bc I never seem to be able to find lime sulfur, or if I do it’s something else that’s not for wood. Seems like a product you don’t see everywhere. Trying to whiten/preserve some Shari/Jins.

Thanks everybody!

Don't know about "best place", but I only found one place that sells it.

This is another product sold by NEBG...oddly enough it seems like the same product?

It's becoming harder to find. It seems that is increasingly being banned for retail sale. I'm not sure why except for its corrosive properties

I've often wondered how the two products compare. I've seen the lime sulfur sold as flea dip. Odd that it's become so hard to find for bonsai

Thanks everybody. That’s very helpful. Been wanting to add the white out to some dead branches and trunk lines for a min
