Wind damage

Heavy wind toppled and broke branch of Sharps Pigmy. Is there anything to be done to save. Is it possible to reattach. Newbie at this.

Be positive, you needed to reduce the number of branches at that point any way, there’s 4 large branches emanating from 1 point.. was about to become a bulge and look ugly. Right? .

We have terrible wind right now too... totally didn’t have a bad dream about the wind and it breaking my oak and maple, last night..

The wind has been something here too. I had 3 blow-overs yesterday. No damage though. Make some cuttings out of it. Life gives you lemons...

To help the healing, I would clean up the wound with knob cutters and/or a sharp knife then seal it with putty.
