    How about when you collect evergreens? Do you do the same process? I just collected a large eastern cedar and could not get all the root and with what i trimmed off the bottom i took off the top. Was that a mistake?

    Lol just went through mine and lost my hickory from last yr and an oak that had a huge exposed root. Was vigorous all last year but dead this one. Oh well more room fro the the hickory and five oak and numerous others i collected this spring.

    Norway spruce my collection

    here is the first of the trees in my collection that i have had the longest and have had alot of fun with. Working now to creat level pads that are thick and full. Still need ti figure out hot to finish and groom the apex. Hope you like Paul
