Colorado’s Tree Sale Thread

I am a little sad that I could get that sagebrush, but like @Perplexody , it's really just that i'm not local! I almost called my sister and asked if she would pick it up, but I'm happy that it doesn't need to travel.

Anyway, I've now officially added sagebrush to my list of trees. There are millions of them just over the Cascades from me, and I think it would be good to practice collection on, once i learn from some folks in my area, rather than a rarer, more sought after species.
Good luck on the move!
If it makes you feel any better, I’m not entirely sure how well sagebrush would do in Seattle. While I understand they are in abundance east of the Cascades, that area is pretty dry and arid out that way, with little rain. They tend to do best in low humidity, warm/arid climate from what I understand.

Totally agree that it might not be a good climate, that's part of why I didn't make more of an effort to snag it. The hardiness zones match, but I tend to forget that's only one piece of the puzzle.

I wouldn’t mind seeing the itoigawa juniper

Itoigawa Juniper

This was my tree from the 2023 ABS New Talent Competition. This tree got 3rd place out of 16 trees! I also repotted it into this ceramic pot made by me.

Asking $200 for this one.

Oh man! I love it!

Didn’t realize it was such a well developed tree and unfortunately that is outside of my budget. But that sure is beautiful!!

Chinese elm. Literati style. Really nice Sam Miller pot.

Asking $200. Some websites would sell the pot alone for more than that.

The red maple is just a young little clump, but it’s in this purple pot which is pretty sweet. I can take a pic of the actual tree in the pot if anyone is interested. 95742D61-BED4-4467-89A6-1615E5070DCE.jpeg

Hot and dry, more so than rosemary or lavender. I'm not saying that they wouldn't grow here, but it may be a continual struggle.

I'd be interested! How much are you asking for this one?

Sorry, I forgot to update the thread - that one is sold! Thanks for your interest, though!

I still have quite a few trees for sale though, so feel free to send me a DM if there is anything you’re looking for in particular!

It does have some wire scars I was planning to make into shari.

Haven’t worked on the foliage in a year or two, ready to be worked again!

Asking $200 for this one, it is in a nice Sam Miller pot.

I forgot what month it is, I thought that was from a few days ago. Whoops! Thanks anyway for the update.

Not looking for anything in particular, I just really liked that pot and am a sucker for JMs.

I like the mugo, but I'm not sure it's speaking to me. If it didn't need shipping, I think I'd be all over it! Thanks for following up though.

Yes that one has sold. Thanks for your interest!

I am planning to make more of those purple pots once I get my kiln up and running again :)
