scots pine collected last fall. I dug up 6 of these of varying sizes, three I planted in front of my house. One didn't make it.

Good work 10, learning to wire will rock your bonsai world.
If that is a tie down wire on your larch be careful that it doesn't dig in and girdle the tree.

Wow, weve been at it the same amount of time, and we both dove in to the deep end! Since Im in the tropics my trees are local or naturalized or imported. So my ficus collection is getting outa hand with no more room. Anyway, nice trees! I like the tamarack a lot, not many bonsais are so tall. So I hope we both stick to it! Theres lots to learn and we cant learn it all. But we can try!

Thanks! I quite like the big Tamarack too; picked it up at the ABS show for $55 and put it in that brown pot i had lying around.
I think having local species is cool. Joining a club has helped me learn a lot.

I haven't had any luck with cuttings thus far. I suspect not enough humidity. I'll keep trying!

Hey! Good to see the larch and boxwood are still doing well! :)
And the burning bush too, didn't have a recent pic of that one.

Almost forgot this juniper. It could probably use some attention.
