There's a thread on this Hawthorn somewhere, today i slipped it into a new pot from Erin Pottery, wired all the shoots towards the light.
That's another cool tree. I also like that you put it in a pot that was made by one of your own. I just picked up another one of Vic's pots last month. I really like his more rugged work. I posted this elsewhere but here's my new Korean Hornbeam from the backside:

I do like his work also and not too pricey! another Hawthorn, also in an Erin pot....early stages for this tree but the basic structure is in place after summer wiring, this Hawthorn is heading towards a more gnarly approach to the branching, these branches were grown from scratch
